The Lecco Mechanical District Commitee, established and coordinate by the Lecco Chamber of Commerce from 1994,  is costituited by representatives from each Local Body, Companies Association and local Trade-Unions, to promote the district and its businesses, realizing the right synergies between public and private institution of the territory.

The Lecco Metalmechanical District is member of “Italian Districts“, an association active from 1994 to represent and develop the local systems of companies, typical Italian local economic model.

Partner of the Federation of the Italian Districts, active from 1994 to give voice and representation to the local systems of enterprises, the Lecco Mechanical District is now member of the Comitato di Filiera della Meccanica di Unionfiliere, Association of Italian Chambers of Commerce to promote Italian Made -products.

The secretariat is established within Lariodesk Informazioni, Special Agency of the Lecco Chamber of Commerce that promotes development of SMEs, notably through innovation and entrepreneurial culture; internazionalization, and the diffusion and the development of the ICT, sustaining and realizing projects of and-government to territorial level.
